Ledger7™ is a construction project ledger and management tool built for builders, contractors, and site managers in Tamil Nadu, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our service at www.ledger7.com.

2. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Full name, email address, phone number, company / business name
- Password (stored as a secure hash — we never see your plain password)
Construction & Project Data
- Project details: names, budgets, timelines, milestone amounts
- Transaction records: material purchases, labour payments, contractor bills, client payments
- Worker records: names, roles, attendance, advance payments
- Site logs, uploaded bill images, notes
Technical Data
- Browser type, device type, operating system
- IP address (collected by our hosting infrastructure)
- App usage patterns (screens visited, features used — for improving the product)
Payment Data
- Payment is processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your card number, UPI ID, or bank credentials. We only store the payment confirmation and plan details.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your Ledger7™ account
- To provide, operate, and improve the service
- To send transactional emails: account activation, password reset, subscription expiry notices
- To process subscription payments via Razorpay
- To respond to your support requests
- To detect and prevent fraud or misuse
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your data to any third party.
4. Data Storage & Security
- All data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL cloud database) with row-level security — each user can only access their own data
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
- Uploaded bill images are stored in Supabase Storage with access restricted to the account owner
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt — never stored in plain text
- We regularly review security policies and update our practices
5. Third-Party Services

- Resend — Transactional email delivery (account activation, password reset)
- Google Fonts — Font delivery (no personal data is shared with Google)
These third parties are required to handle your data securely and are prohibited from using it for their own marketing purposes.
6. Cookies & Local Storage
- We use browser localStorage for session management, language preference, and offline cache — no third-party tracking cookies
- We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising trackers
7. Data Retention
- Your data is retained for as long as your account is active
- If your subscription expires and you do not renew, your data is retained in read-only mode for 90 days before deletion
- You may request immediate account and data deletion at any time by emailing hello.ledger7@gmail.com — deletion will be completed within 30 days
8. Your Rights
- Access — View all your data inside the app at any time
- Export — Download your transaction data as CSV from within the app
- Correction — Edit your account details and project data directly in the app
- Deletion — Request deletion by emailing hello.ledger7@gmail.com
- Portability — Export your data before deleting your account
9. Children's Privacy
Ledger7™ is a professional business tool intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via email to the address on your account. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
