1. About Ledger7™
Ledger7™ is a cloud-based construction project ledger and management tool designed for builders, contractors, and site managers in Tamil Nadu, India. The service is accessible at www.ledger7.com and via the Ledger7 progressive web app.
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Ledger7™, including all features, mobile access, and data storage.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- One account is intended for one business entity. Sharing accounts between unrelated businesses is not permitted
- You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account
3. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
- All plans are paid. Every new subscription is covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee
- If Ledger7™ is not the right fit, contact us within 7 days of your payment and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked
- Refunds are processed to your original payment method via Razorpay and typically reflect within 5–7 business days
- The guarantee applies to your first subscription payment, once per customer. See our Refund Policy for full details
- If a subscription expires and is not renewed, the account enters read-only mode — your data is preserved but you cannot add new transactions until you subscribe again
4. Subscription Plans & Payments
- Ledger7™ offers annual subscription plans starting at ₹1,999/year
- Payments are processed securely by Razorpay
- Subscriptions are billed annually and renew at the then-current price unless cancelled
- Prices are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Ledger7™ only for lawful construction business management purposes. The following are prohibited:
- Using the service for any illegal activity, including financial fraud or tax evasion
- Attempting to access other users' data or the admin systems
- Uploading malicious files, scripts, or content designed to harm the service or other users
- Automated scraping, reverse engineering, or copying of the service
- Reselling or sublicensing access to the service
- Creating fake or misleading project or transaction records for fraudulent purposes
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.
6. Your Data & Ownership
- You own your data. All construction project records, transactions, worker data, and uploaded files you enter into Ledger7™ remain your property
- We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data
- You grant Ledger7™ a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you
- You can export your data as CSV at any time from within the app
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. Ledger7™ is a record-keeping tool and does not independently verify the accuracy of transactions
7. Service Availability
- We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service
- Planned maintenance will be carried out during off-peak hours where possible
- We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability of the service
- The service is provided with offline support via browser cache — basic viewing works without internet
8. Limitation of Liability
- Ledger7™ is a project ledger tool — it is your responsibility to maintain independent records and verify all financial data
- We are not liable for any business decisions made on the basis of data recorded in Ledger7™
- In no event shall Ledger7™ be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability to you in any calendar year shall not exceed the subscription amount paid by you in that year
9. Intellectual Property
- The Ledger7™ name, logo, design, and software are our intellectual property
- You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our software or brand assets without written permission
- Ledger7™ is a trademark. Unauthorised use of our name or logo is prohibited
10. Account Termination
- You may close your account at any time by emailing hello.ledger7@gmail.com
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice
- Upon account closure, your data will be retained for 30 days (for recovery purposes) before being permanently deleted
11. Governing Law & Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Tamil Nadu, India
- Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu

12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
